30 Days on Bali - Blog
Moving my blog from Wordpress (TofuIndites) to my website here…Work in progress

Day 7 – Rain, Co-Working, and Waterfalls from My Sleeves
In my daily (let’s call it non-vacation) routine, I rarely sleep straight through the night. Usually, I wake up once or twice—often for a bathroom break. (What a glamorous topic, right? 🙂)
Last night, though, I slept completely through until the yoga girls came back from their morning class. After a full 8 hours, I should have felt refreshed, but instead I was still dead tired. That’s something I’d really like to work on when I’m back home—building a better sleep routine and hopefully keeping it going.

Day 6 – Sunrise, Cycling, and Surprises
Day 6! With a packed program, the hours flew by. I wouldn’t say I planned too much, but it certainly wasn’t the kind of day your typical beach tourist would enjoy.

Day 5? First Impressions of Ubud: Sunrise, Scooters & Spirituality in Bali
Ubud has a way of making time slip away. I’ve already lost track of how many days I’ve been here, and I take that as a good sign. Life moves at its own pace in Bali—the sun sets right at 6 p.m. and within half an hour it’s pitch dark.

Day 4 – Of Jet Lag, Naps, and New Beginnings
Day 4 in Bali: A jet-lagged traveler's day of rest, creativity, and reflection. Scooter rental, photography tips, and the beginnings of a writing project.

Day 3- People, Patterns, and a Proper Tourist Day in Bali
One day, three stops: Goa Gajah, Tukad Cepung Waterfall, and Lempuyang Temple. A classic case of planning too much—but I left with sweat-soaked clothes, 100+ photos, and a full heart.

Day 1&2...Bali, I’m Here! Sleepless Flights, Busy Streets, and First Impressions
If an Indonesian newspaper had covered my arrival, the headline could’ve easily read:
“German Zombie Leaves Plane and Enters Bali.”
And honestly? That would’ve been spot on. I was dead tired

30 days on Bali – Ready, set, go!
Working day after day in a 9-to-6—or more realistically, 9-to-8—kind of job wears you down.
It’s not physically demanding, but still... exhausting in its own way.
